DURC is important to me because it provides a sense of community and a safe environment where I can do what I love. It allows me to be creative and step into different characters depending on the style of dance I am performing. I love being on stage and competing, and this has allowed me to become a better team player and grow as a leader. DURC has given me the technique, strength and ability to fully express myself through dance.

Cherisa

Dancing is where I feel most alive. Every routine helps me express who I am and who I’m becoming. I practice every chance I get because I dream of becoming a professional dancer one day. When you support me, you’re helping my passion grow into the future I’m working toward.

Leah

As a dancer and member of DURC, I have not only learned to pas de bourrée and time step but gained confidence, self discipline and overcome challenges within the studio walls. Being a dancer I have strengthened my character, formed lifelong friendships and learned that progress takes time and growth happens step by step, one count at a time. I will always be grateful for the lessons learned and memories made as part of DURC.
